The contact owns a 2022 Genesis GV80. The contact stated that in November of 2023 while driving at 80 MPH with cruise control engaged and approaching another vehicle, the contact changed lanes and the vehicle automatically slowed down. The contact stated that while returning to the set speed, the warning lights except for the check engine warning light illuminated on the instrument panel. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the vehicle was diagnosed, and it was determined that the battery was not maintaining enough voltage for the ECU and that the battery needed to be replaced. The battery was not replaced because the dealer did not have the battery in stock.
