The contact owns a 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E. The contact stated that while driving approximately 20 - 25 MPH in the rain at night, the brake pedal was bouncing up and down. The contact stated that the doors locked and failed to open. Additionally, the vehicle stalled. The contact stated that the hazard lights were inoperable. They stated that one of the passenger’s side tire warning lights was illuminated. The contact stated that the battery was at 98 percent and that several unknown warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer to be repaired under NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V333000 (Vehicle Speed Control, Power Train) prior to the failure. The contact called Roadside Assistance, but Roadside Assistance was unable to assist. The contact stated that a Police Officer arrived on the scene to assist. The vehicle was towed to the local dealer after several hours. The vehicle...
only incident I have had is that the dealership cannot fix the recall yet its been a week and still have not recieved anything ,or a loaner or a rental. I am in the military active duty and havent had anything
The contact owns a 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E. The contact stated that upon starting the vehicle, the "Stop Safely Now” message was displayed. There was a RED warning light illuminated. While the vehicle was being charged, the Ford app showed a charge fault error. The vehicle was undriveable. While using a diagnostic tool, it showed there was a failure with the BCM and DTC: P0AA2 and P0D10 were retrieved. The contact stated that the failure was related to NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V412000 (Electrical System); however, the VIN was not included. The local dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted, opened a case, and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline. The failure mileage was 19,000.
On April 19th, I picked up dinner and when I went to leave the parking lot, my vehicle turned on, but did not allow me to move out of park, nor shift into any other gear. I turned the vehicle on and off about ten times to see whether that might allow me to shift into another gear, but to no avail. It was later in the evening, so when I called the Ford customer service line I received an after hours message, and then thereafter I received a call from a Ford customer service center caller saying that they saw I was "stranded" and would send a tow truck to take the vehicle to the nearest Ford mechanic shop. They picked the vehicle up around 11pm in the evening. While the vehicle has had numerous other recalls, (windshield, etc.) I had not received any recall notice related to a...
I have complained several times with Ford Dealers to fix the issues involving my vehicle accelerating on its own. The vehicle within a week will accelerate on its own 4-6 times when exiting a parking spot or my driveway.
I have experienced multiple powertrain malfunctions since the original recall for this issue was completed back in 2022. Approximately 4-5 of these warnings were temporary and cleared within a few hours or after a visit to the dealer to diagnose. Most dealer visits yielded nothing as the car had cleared the errors and codes it was throwing. In 2021, I experienced a complete vehicle failure with a "Stop Safely Now" and "High-Voltage Battery Warning", right before the original recall was performed. My most recent malfunction has also caused a complete vehicle failure, exactly like what happened in 2021. I am concerned that these issues will continue and eventually happen while driving, creating a massive safety issue.
Powertrain failure- reduced/loss of power High voltage battery warning- unsafe to drive
Dealership said no remedy won't fix car but has recall. But when purchased nothing wrong wug car.. everything changed and the whole world is talking in my head saying weird stuff and stealing all my money and the devil acting weird and life just I go through so much and I list nand confused wtf us gong on
Have had 2 separate incidents in which while driving down highway, car switched into slow mode, powering down and ultimately coming to a stop. Had to call 911 both times to get to safety; it was very scary. Car is at dealer for 2 weeks as of today. Believe this is a battery problem which has been identified in lots of other vehicles
My vehicle has 13,000 miles on it and I have been driving it without any problems until August 12, 2022 when I turned the vehicle on and there was "service now" and a "Battery service" message. I was aware of this problem because it was posted online and Ford has sent me mail about this problem but I thought it could be fixed by an over the air update, which I performed already. So I contacted the nearest dealer to book an appointment to remedy this issue but the next available appointment was on August 31st so it was 2 weeks from then. I decided to give it a shot and drive it and I was able to drive approximately 40 miles before the car shut down as I was turning right on a stoplight on my way to work. The propulsion did not work along with a series of...
I was stranded in a parking lot in the evening when my car wouldn't start. The vehicle displayed a "STOP SAFELY NOW" message and I couldn't get the car to move on its own. This happened on April 13, 2022. My safety was at risk because I was in a parking lot at night and unable to engage my car. I had to call and wait for a tow truck. The Ford dealership, in consultation with Ford engineers, confirmed that it was due to a faulty High Voltage Battery Junction Box (HVBJB) and it had to be replaced. With the faulty HVBJB, the car was undrivable. The HVBJB was inspected by Ford personnel and determined to be faulty. It was replaced under warranty. There were no other messages or warnings before my car failed to start. No prior symptoms. I drove normally to a store, parked the car, and when...
The High Volt Battery (HVB) would have a fault in charging sporadically. When this happens, the vehicle can't start. All the alerts for safety features come on and says that it's in accessory mode only. It's no longer in my possession for inspection. It was approved for lemon law buy back and is now owned by Ford Motor Company. They've recognized that the 12v battery drains dead when this happens and they were attempting to replace the ECM module, Battery Control Harness, and the HVB junction box to remedy the issue. My safety was put at risk in terms of when this happened. It was between -25 to -40 when this was occurring and the heat doesn't come on in accessory mode. There was the possibility of frostbite within 5-10 minutes if I didn't seek warm shelter. The problem was reproduced by the dealership where purchased [they have all the...
On 4/1, while entering the FWY @ about 50 mph under moderate accel, big thump (felt like the trans fell out), drivers display cycled thru multiple errors with "stop safely now" repeatedly flashing. Throttle went dead, speed dropped to 35 and steadily decreased. Was able to slowly exit FWY @ next exit, rolled thru light @ bottom of ramp and pulled over to the side of a busy side street. Came to a stop & car would not move. Put in park, cycled on/off several times. Would not come out of park. Tow truck arrived. Found emergency tow function in the main display. Tow driver hooked up front, put rears on dolly & towed to dealer.
While driving on a mountain pass, my 2021 Mustang Mach-E vehicle lost all regenerative braking which, due to the downhill grade, caused a sudden and shocking increase in speed, played warning chimes, and displayed "Stop Safely Now" and "1-Pedal Drive Fault Press Brake Pedal To Reduce Speed" and lost all drive power, forcing me to coast to a stop on the side of the mountain, in an area without cellular coverage to call for help. The vehicle did not restart and would not shift out of Park in 5 attempts to restart. After 10 minutes on the side of the road, the vehicle restarted without issue and no error messages remain in the vehicle.
