FORD WILLINGLY KNEW AND STILL SOLD CARS WITH TRANSMISSION ISSUES
I FEW DAY AFTER GETTING THIS CAR I FELT A HESATATS GOING IN TO 2 GEAR SHORTLY LATER I TOOK IT HAD IT DIAGNOSED BUT THEY SAID IT WOULD BE ABOUT $70 UNLESS IT WAS A RECALL ON IT SO THEY DID THE SAID THE TCM WAS OUT AND IT HAS A RECALL ON IT BUT ALSO I NEED A CLUTCH AND THAT WAS $4000. SO THEY FIXED IT AND IT'S IT ALL GOOD NOW ABOUT 2 NO. LATER I WAS STOPPED AT A RED LIGHT WITH A SUV IN FRONT OF ME I HAD MY FOOT ON THE BRAKE AND IT STARTED FELLOW WRITING IN THAT SHOP FOR YOU MADE ME HIT THE SUV IN FRONT.OF ME, IT STARTED DOING THE OTHER STUFF AGAIN I FELLED MY GAS UP AND TRIED TO START IT BUT IT WOULD START I SEAT THE A LIL THE TRIED IT AGAIN IF STARED...
TRANSMISSION ISSUE FOR 2012 FORD FOCUS IS CODE PO7A3 A RECALL ITEM? TRANSMISSION ISSUE MAKES IT UNABLE TO DRIVE SAFELY. LOCAL FORD DEALERSHIP STATES NOT A RECALL ITEM. BUT I NEVER RECEIVED ANY RECALL NOTICE FROM THEM REGARDING ANY TRANSMISSION ISSUES AND I JUST WANT TO VERIFY IT IS NOT A COVERED RECALL REPAIR AS IT WILL BE COSTLY.
I WAS DRIVING MY 2012 FORD FOCUS AND THEN IT STARTED TO NOT SHIFT WHEN I WAS ON A BUSY ROAD WITH THE SPEED LIMIT 50 MPH AND GOING UP HILL. WHEN THE CAR STOPPED SHIFTING I ONLY WENT 20 MPH OR LESS. THE CAR ONLY HAS 64,500 MILES AND THE MECHANIC SAYS IT'S A BAD CLUTCH AND COMPUTER. THERE'S NO REASON FOR A CAR WITH THAT MANY MILES TO BREAK DOWN LIKE THAT EVEN IF IT'S 9 YEARS OLD. THERE'S A FLAW IN THE DESIGN OF THE TRANSMISSION AND EVERYONE IS LETTING FORD GET AWAY WITH IT. I DON'T HAVE THE MONEY TO DO THIS, DOESN'T FORD MAKE ENOUGH MONEY. THEY SHOULD'VE AT LEAST GAVE ME THE WARRANTY FOR IT.
HORN WAS ONLY WORKING INTERMITTENTLY, NOW IT DOESN'T WORK AT ALL.
I PURCHASED MY VEHICLE OCTOBER 14,2020 FROM DAY ONE EVERY TIME, I PUT GAS IN IT, IT STALLED TO CRANK AND YOU COULD SMELL A ROTTEN EGG SMELL. HERE IT IS NOVEMBER 28, 2020 MY CAR STARTS SMOKING REALLY BAD AND NOW WON'T EVEN CRANK UP TO DRIVE. I PAID 4,056 CASH FOR A CAR I CAN'T EVEN ENJOY.
THE TRANSMISSION IS SLIPPING HARD AND JERKING THE CAR AFTER IT WAS REBUILT LESS THAN A YEAR AGO AND HAS LESS THAN 10,000 MILES ON THE REBUILT TRANSMISSION. THE REBUILD WAS DONE THROUGH THE DEALER I BOUGHT IT FROM AND NOW THEY ARE REFUSING TO FIX IT. IT HAS BEEN SLIPPING LIKE THIS AND GETTING WORSE OVER THE PAST FEW WEEKS.
AS I WAS DRIVING THE CAR IT STALLED AND WOULD NOT RESTART. THIS HAS HAPPENED SEVERAL TIMES. THE LAST TIME IT HAPPENED I WAS DRIVING DOWN MY DRIVE WAY AND IT STALLED. IT WOULD NOT START AND IT SAT IN MY DRIVEWAY FOR SEVERAL DAYS. I FINALLY GOT IT TO THE FORD DEALERSHIP. THEY SAID THAT NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH THE CAR.

FORD SUPPOSELY DID A RECALL ON THIS AND SUPPOSELY DID WORK ON MY VEHICLE BEFORE L OWNED IT, NOW IT HAS SAME ISSUE SO L BELIEVE IT WAS NEVER CHANGED OUT? I BELIEVE THAT RECALL WAS BACK IN 2016 OR 2017 OR 2018?

THE DOOR LATCH SUDDENLY STOPED WORKING, PRIOR INVESTIGATION SHOWED THAT THE SPRING INSIDE WENT BUSTED SINCE THE CABLE WAS ATTACHED TO THE MECHANISM AND IT DIDN'T RESPOND AS IT WOULD NORMALLY DO. THIS HAPPENED WHEN I ARRIVED AT MY APARTMENT AFTER WORKING JUST FINE DURING THE TRIP FROM MY HOMETOWN.
FIRST OFF, WHEN ACCELERATING, EVEN AFTER THE TRANSMISSION RECALLS WERE "FIXED", WE STILL HAVE VERY BAD JERKING AND SHUDDERING WHEN ACCELERATING. SOMETIMES IT SOUNDS LIKE A GRINDING SOUND. SECONDLY, THERE IS A CLANKING SOUND THAT HAPPENS WHEN WE DRIVE OVER VERY SMALL BUMPS. IT SOUNDS LIKE METAL HITTING METAL IN THE BACK OF THE CAR. THERE IS NOTHING IN THE TRUNK THAT COULD BE MAKING THAT NOISE, AND IS HEARD OUTSIDE OF THE CAR ALSO. PROBLEM CANNOT BE LOCATED BY MECHANICS OR MYSELF.

NOW MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON AND IT THE DEALERSHIP TELLS ME IT WAS TESTED AND THEIR WAS NO ISSUE, SO THEY CANNOT DO ANYTHING NOW. MY VEHICLE COULD STALL AND NOT CRANK BACK AND FORD REFUSES TO FIX A FAULTY PART THEY HAD A RECALL ON?

VEHICLE MAKES EXTREMELY LOUD STATIC SOUNDS, CRACKING, POPPING. RADIO CANNOT BE CONTROLLED. FIRST TIME THIS HAPPENED, I ALMOST CRASHED FROM THE ERRATIC AND SUDDEN NOISE. RADIO DOES NOT WORK AS OF NOW, MILEAGE IS 80,000 APPROX. THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED.
IVE HAD ISSUES WITH THE STEERING WHEEL SINCE I 1ST GOT THE CAR. IN THE BEGINNING IT WOULD LIKE A COUPLE MINUTES AND THEN BE FINE. I NOTICED IT WHEN IT WAS SUPER COLD OR EVEN JUST KIND OF COLD. I'VE TAKEN MY CAR IN MANY TIMES BUT THEY COULD NEVER FIGURE OUT AN ISSUE. NOW ITS 2020 AND ITS BEEN "OUT" SINCE THURSDAY TODAY IS MONDAY AND I JUST HAD IT TOWED TO THE CAR DEALER SHIP. EVERY TIME THIS ISSUES OCCURRED MY CAR WAS IN PART I NEVER GOT A WARNING...
WHEN I MAKE A STOP AND TRY TO MOVE THE VEHICLE, I FEEL VIBRATIONS, LOST OF POWER. I DID NOT KNOW THAT FORD RECALLED THE VEHICLE TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM. I JUST CALLED BUT FORD REFUSE TO FIX. THE AGENT TO WHOM I SPOKE, SAID THAT THE MILEAGE IS ABOVE 100 000 MILES. THE CURRENT MILEAGE IS 173 000 MILES BUT I HAVE BEEN DRIVING WITH THIS PROBLEM FOR LONG TIME.
WHEN FIRST ACCELERATING FROM 0 MPH, THE CAR WILL STRUGGLE TO SHIFT OUT OF FIRST GEAR. IT CONSTANTLY JUMPS AND JERKS BETWEEN 10-20 MPH. IT FEELS LIKE SOMEONE WHO IS NEWLY LEARNING HOW TO DRIVE A STICK SHIFT IS SHIFTING THE CAR. AS AN AUTOMATIC, IT SHOULD NOT BE HAVING THESE PROBLEMS. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THIS HAS OCCURRED WITH THE CAR. THE FIRST TIME THE COMPUTER HAD TO BE COMPLETELY REPLACED.
I LITTLE WHILE AFTER I PURCHASED THIS CAR IN 2012, IT BEGAN SHUTTERING UPON ACCELERATION. I'VE REPORTED THIS TO THE DEALER SEVERAL TIMES. IT CONTINUES TO HAPPEN AND I WOULD LIKE THEM TO FIX THIS PROBLEM THEY HAVE KNOWN IS AN ISSUE WITH THE FOCUS 2012. OR I WOULD ACCEPT FINANCIAL COMPENSATION TO BE PUT TOWARDS A SAFER AND MORE RELIABLE VEHICLE.
I WAS IN A LANE BEGINNING TO MERGE ONTO THE HIGHWAY. THIS CAR WAS TO MY LEFT AND DID NOT SEE ME IN THEIR BLIND SPOT TRYING TO MERGE RIGHT TOO EARLY. SEEMS TO MULTIPLE COMPLAINTS REGARDING THIS ON THIS PARTICULAR VEHICLE. THERE IS NO WARNING WHEN THIS OCCURS AND IT DOES NOT DO IT EVERY DAY. MAJOR SAFETY HAZARD WHEN YOU ARE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD AND THIS NOISE COMES OUT OF NOWHERE. WHEN YOU SHUT THE CAR OFF THE NOISE CONTINUES. EVEN CONTINUES AFTER REMOVING THE KEY AND LOCKING THE DOORS.

MY 2012 FORD FOCUS TRANSMISSION WAS REPAIRED UNDER THE PREVIOUS RECALL. THE TRANSMISSION STARTED TO ACT UP IN THE PAST FEW DAYS. IT'S STUTTERING AND THE JERKING MOVING FROM A STOP. MY BROTHER WHO IS A MECHANIC SAYS IT'S PROBABLY THE CLUTCH AGAIN. IS IT COVERED UNDER THE CURRENT RECALL. IT HAS 136500 MILES ON IT. I NEED THE CAR FOR BOTH MY JOBS. I FOLLOWED LEMON LAW PROTOCOL AND DOCUMENTED EVERYTHING THROUGH THE SERVICE DEPT. MORE THAN 12 VISITS. FOUR VISITS BEFORE THE NEAR FATAL CRASH AND THE REMAINDER AFTERWARDS. FORD RAN OUT THE STATUTE OF LIMITATIONS ON MY VEHICLE SO THEY DID NOT HAVE TO PAY ME. THE VEHICLE HAS A PROPENSITY OF TURNING OFF WHEN ACCELERATING TO 65 MPH. WHEN MAKING A TURN OR U-TURN THE CAR HESITATES. FORD ADMITTED TO MANUFACTURER DEFECT AND STILL WOULD NOT PUT ME IN MY ORIGINAL POSITION WHICH HAS LEFT ME WITH DISC DISPLACEMENTS BENEATH MY BRAIN STEM....
