The failure had become constant over time. The contact who is a certified mechanic, diagnosed the vehicle and determined that the camshaft had failed due to a camshaft position timing performance bank code. The contact replaced the spark plugs and, while doing so, noticed oil in the thread of cylinder #3 spark plug. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, who informed the contact that the failure was due to the cylinder head being cracked. The contact called the local dealer, but the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted, but no assistance was provided. THE CONTACT CALLED KEITH HAWTHORNE FORD LOCATED AT 617 N MAIN ST, BELMONT, NC 28012, AND INFORMED TO SCHEDULE AND APPOINTMENT TO HAVE THE VEHICLE REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED.
