TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 FORD F350 SUPER DUTY. WHEN THE CONTACT CHANGED GEARS, THE CLUTCH EXTENDED DOWN TO THE FLOOR AND THE TRANSMISSION LOCKED INTO NEUTRAL. HE WAS ABLE TO MOVE THE VEHICLE ONTO THE SHOULDER. THE CONTACT IS A MECHANIC AND STATED THAT THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE WAS THE MASTER CYLINDER. THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS OUT OF WARRANTY; THEREFORE, THE REPLACEMENT PART WAS NO LONGER AVAILABLE. THE SPEED WAS UNKNOWN. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 83,000.
