TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2000 FORD F-350 SD. THE CONTACT STATED THAT LOCATED UNDER THE FUEL FILTER, THE O-RING AND THE DRAIN LINE FAILED ON MORE THAN ONE OCCASION. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER MORE THAN TWICE AND THEY WERE NOT ABLE TO REPLICATE AND DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO REPLACED THE DRAIN LINE AND INDICATED THAT THERE WAS TOO MUCH PRESSURE FLOWING INTO THE FUEL FILTER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT TOOK HIS VEHICLE TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC AND THE DEALER WHO BOTH STATED THAT HAVING LESS THEN 5% BIO DIESEL WOULD CAUSE THE FAILURE TO OCCUR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 130,000. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 200,000.
