Defect: FORD IS RECALLING 1,357 MY 2009 EXPEDITION AND NAVIGATOR VEHICLES FOR FAILING TO COMPLY WITH THE FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 108, "LAMPS, REFLECTIVE DEVICES, AND ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT." THE BRAKE STOP LAMP SWITCH MAY BE IMPROPERLY ADJUSTED. THIS MAY RESULT IN A DELAY IN BRAKE STOPLAMP ILLUMINATION WHEN THE BRAKE PEDAL IS DEPRESSED. IN SITUATIONS OF VERY MILD BRAKE...
Consequence: DELAY OR LOSS OF BRAKE STOPLAMP FUNCTION MAY INCREASE THE RISK OF A CRASH.

The drive shaft is bad. My expedition is shaking very bad at high speeds it shakes the rear view mirror. I took it back to the dealership where I got it from 3 months after I got it because they thought it was the shocks. They replaced both rear shocks. Contol arms, body mounts. Got all brand new tires which have been balanced and rotated and the vehicle is still shaking at 60 + mpr. A while back in kept hearing a bird chirping noise but later found it that's due to drive shaft. Also of clunking going on under truck.
THE ABS LIGHT STAYS ON AND THE VEHICLE WOBBLES WHEN STOPPING. THE BRAKES LOOK FINE AND THE ROTORS APPEAR TO BE GOOD. *TR
MY VEHICLE HAS BEEN IN JERRY'S FORD IN ALEXANDRIA, VA FOR OVER 2 WEEKS THIS TIME. OVER A MONTH ALL TOGETHER OVER THE LAST 3 MONTHS. I CAN'T GET THEM TO GIVE ME A SIMILAR VEHICLE AS LOANER OR TELL ME WHEN MY CAR WILL BE FIXED. I CAN'T GET A MANAGER FROM FORD TO CALL ME BACK.
