The rear view camera glitches and the display is either blacked out or scattered. The motion sensor does not always work when this happens. I was not aware of an on coming car while backing up causing a safety risk. The screen will start glitching and become distorted while I am already backing up, making it hard to know where the objects are. There are not any warning lights to indicate a problem. I brought the car to the service center at the dealership from where I purchased it, They said I would have to pay for a new camera. I did not do that because there is a recall in the 2021 model and other Ford vehicles for the same issue .
Problem with car jerking when driving went to dealership and still having the problem He said that it was internal and nothing else he can do he said he changed parts paying a $725 note a month while it sits can't drive it . scare to put on the road don't want it to break down I also end up paying out of pocket. The car was purchased through Enterprise Car Sales payment is going to Santander Consumer USA payments are always paid in advance of a week and a half.
The rear view camera on my 2020 Ford Edge works intermittently. I found recall "NHTSA ID21V011000" and called Ford, but they say this does not apply to my vehicle. The symptoms described in the recall are the same as I am experiencing. This is definitely a safety issue and I am asking that this recall be extended to include my vehicle.
VEHICLE transmission while in park failed to remain and moved backward on its own. My safety was at risk as a tractor trailer pulled into rest stop and had to brake b4 colliding with the said vehicle, also if anything was behind me it could have been at risk. unknown unknown NO there was NO warning lamps or messages of this problem, however there were indications on the dashboard lights that stated Blind Spot System Fault AND Cross Traffic System Fault at 45478 miles and Prior
