The local dealer was contacted and confirmed that the part was not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the message "Parking Brake Malfunction - Service Now" was displayed. The dealer and the manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 148,700.
