THE WINDSHIELD IS SET AT SUCH AN ANGLE THAT THE DASHBOARD IS REFLECTED ON TO IT. IT'S DISTRACTING, AND ANNOYING. I GET AROUND THE ISSUE BY WEARING SUNGLASSES. I DON'T USUALLY NEED THEM OTHERWISE. *TR
DRIVING HOME FROM WORK ON HWY 99 I HEARD A LOUD POP (SOUNDED LIKE A GUNSHOT) AND HEARD THE SOUND OF GLASS. I PULLED OFF THE FREEWAY AND DISCOVERED MY SUNROOF HAD COMPLETELY EXPLODED. I WAS ALONE ON THE ROAD AND WAS NOWHERE NEAR AN OVERPASS WHERE SOMETHING COULD HAVE FALLEN ON IT. IT WAS A COLD DAY AND THE HEATER WAS ON SO THERE WAS A TEMPERATURE DIFFERENCE. I DROVE THE CAR TO FORD AFTER CALLING MY INSURANCE COMPANY. I WAS TOLD TODAY THAT THERE WAS NO "STRUCTURAL DEFECT" SO FORD WAS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE REPLACEMENT. IT IS 1300 DOLLARS FOR A NEW SUNROOF, 10 DAYS BEFORE CHRISTMAS. AFTER DOING SOME RESEARCH ONLINE I FOUND MY CAR WAS NOT THE ONLY ONE TO HAVE HAD THIS HAPPEN. HAD THE COVER NOT BEEN CLOSED, SHARDS OF GLASS WOULD HAVE RAINED DOWN ON ME AS WELL AS MY SON IN...
