THE DOOR IN THE BACK WILL OPEN AN CLOSE ON IT ON ALMOST CLOSED ON MY DAUGHTER WHILE GET OUT OF CAR AN NO BUTTON WAS PUSHED TO CLOSE THE DOOR. GOING DOWN THE ROAD AND ALL GAUGES ARE COMING ON AN WIPERS COMING ON BY THEM SELF . KEY GETTING STUCK IN THE IGNITION.
MY DODGE CARAVAN JUST STALLS WHILE DRIVING. IT HAS HAPPENED ABOUT 5 TIMES THIS PAST YEAR. THE ENGINE CUTS OFF AND I HAVE TO PULL OVER AND RESTART. IT HAS ONLY HAPPENED WHILE DRIVING BETWEEN 20-40 MILES PER HOUR. IT HAS NOT HAPPENED ON THE HIGHWAY I HAD THE IGNITION SWITCH REPLACED SO I KNOW IT IS NOT THAT. SOMETIMES WHEN MY CAR WILL NOT START I HAVE TO PUT IT IN NEUTRAL AND IT STARTS. OUR MECHANIC CANNOT FIND ANYTHING WRONG BUT DID SEE THE ENGINE FAILURE WHILE RUNNING A DIAGNOSTIC.

WIRELESS IGNITION NODE MODULE RECALL. DEALER ADVISES I MUST BE PUT ON A WAITING LIST AND THAT IT WILL BE MONTHS BEFORE HE WILL HAVE THE PARTS BECAUSE THE COMPANY WILL ONLY SHIP ONE PART AT A TIME. HE SAID THEY WOULD NOT SHIP THE QUANTITY THAT HE NEEDED. THIS SHOULD BE UNACCEPTABLE IF IT A SAFETY ISSUE! PARTS ARE MASS PRODUCED TO MEET AUTO MANUFACTURERS NEEDS. I WAS NOTIFIED IN EARLY JUNE, 2015 ABOUT A SAFETY RECALL #R03/NHTSA 14V-373 AND DIRECTED TO CONTACT A DEALER ABOUT THIS RECALL. I DID SO SEVERAL TIMES AND WAS TOLD TO CALL BACK LATER BECAUSE PARTS WERE NOT AVAILABLE. I CALLED AGAIN ON 12/14/15 AND WAS PUT ON A WAIT LIST OF 40+ PEOPLE TO GET THIS FIX DONE. AGAIN I'M TOLD THAT CHRYSLER IS NOT SENDING OUT THE PARTS. LOOKS LIKE SLOW-WALKING IT TO ME. I FORMALLY REQUEST THAT CHRYSLER BE PUNISHED FOR THIS LACK OF CONCERN FOR SAFETY.
2009 DODGE CARAVAN WILL NOT HOLD A CHARGE. BATTERY HAS BEEN REPLACED TWICE SINCE DECEMBER 2014. HAVE HAD THE VAN IN THE SHOP FOR EXTENSIVE WORK ON THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, WITH NO LUCK. I HAVE TO JUMP START MY VAN "EVERY DAY" TO USE IT. STARTED IN SEPT 2014. DEC 30, 2014 MY HUSBAND HAD A MASSIVE STROKE, AND HAS HAD EXTENSIVE HOSPITALIZATION AND CARE. HE IS MUCH BETTER, BUT PARALYZED ON ONE SIDE. THIS MAKES IT VERY INCONVENIENT TO LEAVE FOR APPOINTMENTS, SHOPPING, ETC.

I WENT TO THE DODGE DEAL HERE IN FREEPORT, IL 61032 TO GET A SAFETY RECALL RO3/NHTSA 14V-373 AND WAS TOLD I NEEDED TO CONTACT YOU. THEY ARE UNABLE TO GET THE PARTS TO FULFILL THE RECALL.
OUR GRAND CARAVAN WAS ISSUED A RECALL FOR THE IGNITION AND WE MADE AN APPOINTMENT AT SAFFORD DODGE IN FREDERICKSBURG, VA WHERE WE PURCHASED THE VAN FOR JUNE 10TH 2015 AND AFTER ABOUT 45 MINUTES, THE SERVICE ADVISOR TOLD US THAT THE CORRECT PARTS WEREN'T IN STOCK AND THAT THEY HAVE BEEN ORDERED. WE HAVE NOT RECEIVED A NOTICE TO RETURN TO THE DEALERSHIP FOR REPAIRS AND IT HAS BEEN ALMOST THREE MONTHS. THIS IS NON COMPLIANCE AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED.

I HAVE PUT IN 3 COMPLAINTS SINCE OCTOBER AND HAVE SENT A COMPLAINT TO CHRYSLER. MY VAN HAS SHUT DOWN COMPLETELY 15 TIMES SINCE OCTOBER. THE ISSUES WITH THIS VAN ACTUALLY STARTED IN THE SUMMER OF 2012, WHEN WE WERE STRANDED BECAUSE THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT START. I HAD EVERYTHING CHECKED OUT, BATTERY REPLACED. NO ONE COULD FIND ANYTHING WRONG, YET AT TIMES, IT WOULD NOT START RIGHT AWAY. NOW THE VAN JUST TURNS OFF WHILE DRIVING. THIS IS A MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE FOR ME AND MY FAMILY, YET CHRYSLER OUT ME TO A HIGHER PRIORITY AND STILL HAS NOT CALLED ME IN TO FIX THE DEFECT. WHILE THIS VAN HAS OTHER ISSUES AS WELL, THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING THAT NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED BY CHRYSLER. CAN ANYONE HELP ME GET THIS TAKING CARE OF? I HAVE BEEN HAVING ISSUES WITH THE WIRELESS CONTROL MODULE FOR QUITE SOMETIME. IT CAME TO A HEAD THIS PAST TUESDAY 3/24 WHEN MY VEHICLE WOULD NOT START--HAD TO HAVE VEHICLE TOWED TWICE DUE TO ISSUES WITH CONTROL MODULE. THIS EXPERIENCE THE PAST YEAR HAS BEEN FRUSTRATING. DOORS LOCKED BY THEMSELVES WHEN THE CAR IS SHUT OFF; THERE ARE TIMES WHEN THE WINDOWS WOULD COME DOWN BY THEMSELVES DUE TO ISSUES WITH CONTROL MODULE. WHILE DRIVING DOWN ONE OF THE MAIN STREETS IN TRAVERSE CITY, MICHIGAN, I SLOWED DOWN TO MAKE A RIGHT HAND TURN. IN THE MIDDLE OF THE TURN THE CAR STALLED AND I CAME WITHIN INCHES OF SMASHING INTO A CAR WAITING IN THE LEFT HAND TURN OF THE STREET ONTO WHICH I TURNED. I HAVE HAD THE CAR IN THE LOCAL DODGE DEALERSHIP WHERE THEY HAVE GONE OVER THE CAR WITH A FINE TOOTHED COMB AND SAY THE PROBLEM IS CONSISTENT WITH AN ISSUE WITH THE STARTING MECHANISM FOR WHICH DODGE PUT OUT A RECALL IN 2011. DODGE HAS NOT PROVIDED THE PART/PARTS WHICH ARE REQUIRED TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM. THIS STALLING HAS OCCURRED ONCE SINCE THE FIRST TIME AND DODGE CONTINUES TO IGNORE THE REQUEST FOR PART/PARTS TO THE DEALERSHIP.
