IT CAN BE RESET BY PULLING THE IOD 20AMP FUSE IN THE MAIN FUSE PANEL FOR 5 SECONDS AND REINSTALLING IT WHICH RESETS THE SYSTEM. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 DODGE CARAVAN. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 18 MPH THE CONTACT NOTICED THE AUTOMATIC DOOR LOCK FAILED AND WOULD NOT LOCK THE DOORS AUTOMATICALLY. THE DOOR FOB ALSO WOULD NOT LOCK THE DOORS WHEN THE LOCK BUTTON WAS ENGAGED; HOWEVER, THE HORN WOULD BLOW. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE CONTACT STATED AFTER DISCONNECTING THE IOD FUSE AND LATER RECONNECTING IT THE AUTOMATIC DOOR LOCK FUNCTION WOULD ACTIVATE. AFTER TWO DAYS, THE AUTOMATIC DOOR LOCK WOULD FAILED AGAIN. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 85,000. THERE ARE MANY MANY PEOPLE WITH THE SAME 2005 MODEL CARAVAN WITH THE SAME PROBLEM. I CAN REMOVE A 20AMP FUSE FOR 20 SECONDS AND IT WILL REBOOT THE SYSTEM AND IT WORK AGAIN FOR ANYWHERE FROM A FEW HOURS TO A FEW WEEKS. I PAID FOR AN ELECTRONIC DOOR LOCK AND IT SHOULD WORK. AFTER RAINING AND FREEZING OVERNIGHT, I GOT INTO MY 2005 DODGE CARAVAN TO GO TO WORK. I ATTEMPTED TO MOVE DOWN THE DRIVERS SIDE WINDOW WITH THE POWER WINDOW DOWN SWITCH. THE WINDOW WAS FROZEN IN PLACE. AFTER TRYING TO GET THE WINDOW DOWN 3 OR 4 MORE TIMES. I GAVE UP AND WENT ONTO WORK. WHEN I CAME OUT FROM WORK TO GO HOME THE WINDOW WAS COMPLETELY DOWN. I TRIED TO USE THE POWER WINDOW UP BUTTON AND IT WOULD NOT RAISE. TOOK IT TO A DODGE DEALER AND THEY REPLACED THE ENTIRE WINDOW RAISING/LOWERING MECHANISM AT A COST OF OVER $400.00. WHILE USING THE REMOTE TO LOCK THE DOORS THE HORN BEEPED INDICATING DOORS WERE LOCKED BUT THE DOORS NEVER LOCK. THIS HAS HAPPENED 5 TIMES WITH NO SET PATTERN OR METHOD TO MAKE IT HAPPEN AGAIN. FOUND THAT REMOVING A FUSE FROM UNDER THE HOOD AND RE-INSTALLING SEEMS TO RESET THE SYSTEM ALLOW PROPER LOCKING OPERATION. PULLING THIS FUSE ALSO RESETS THE RADIO PRESETS BUT SINCE THE WARRANTY EXPIRED THIS SEEMS LIKE A LITTLE INCONVENIENCE FOR THE COST TO FIX A PROBLEM THAT HAPPENS RANDOMLY. *TR
