The contact had taken the vehicle to a certified mechanic who diagnosed that there was a malfunction with an unknown part. The vehicle was not repaired. I NEED SOME ANSWERS TO THIS MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE. I HAVE BEEN EXPERIENCING ISSUES WITH MY 2010 DODGE AVENGER. THESE ISSUES ARE WHILE DRIVING THE VEHICLE ON THE ROADWAY, HIGHWAY VEHICLE JUST CUTS OF WITHOUT ANY WARNING SIGNS WITH CARS GOING AT LEAST 45MPH FOLLOWING. VEHICLE HAS ALSO NOT STARTED ON OVER 15 OCCASIONS. I HAVE TAKEN IT TO THE DEALERSHIP WHO INTERN HAS MADE REPAIRS STATING THAT THE ISSUE WAS FIX, BUT WHEN I GET VEHICLE HOME AFTER AN ENORMOUS REPAIR BILL IT WON'T START AGAIN. THE DEALER HAS TOLD ME THAT THEY DON'T KNOW WHY VEHICLE IS ABRUPTLY GOING DEAD WHILE DRIVING.THIS IS A MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE. LAST OCCURENCE WAS IN OCTOBER 2019. VEHICLE IS STILL A REPAIR SHOP.

ONCE THE CAR WAS PARKED A CALL WAS MADE TO A LOCAL DODGE DEALERSHIP AND AN APPOINTMENT MADE TO IMMEDIATELY TAKE THE VEHICLE IN FOR A DIAGNOSIS. THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN APPROXIMATELY 10 MILES TO THE DEALERSHIP AT NO TIME DID THE ELECTRICAL INDICATOR LIGHT APPEAR AND THE VEHICLE ACCELERATED WITHOUT INCIDENT. UPON EXAMINATION OF THE VEHICLE IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE ISSUE WAS WITH THE THROTTLE BODY WHICH WAS REPAIRED.
