Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2010 DODGE AVENGER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED AND UNOCCUPIED WHEN IT UNEXPECTEDLY IGNITED INTO FLAMES. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT APPEARED ON THE SCENE THE EXTINGUISH THE FIRE. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE FIRE WAS ELECTRICAL AND ORIGINATED UNDERNEATH THE DASHBOARD. THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED AND TOWED TO A SALVAGE FACILITY. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 34,200. UPDATED 08/01/11*LJ UPDATED 08/02/11
