All Engine And Engine Coolingcooling System Complaints
TRAILBLAZER WAS MAKING ROARING NOISE WHEN FIRST STARTING UP AND TOOK ABOUT 2 MINUTES FOR IT TO RUN NORMAL, VOLTAGE METER FLUCTUATES AS WELL AS THE LIGHTS DIMMING INTERMITTENTLY DURING THIS TIME. THIS STARTED HAPPENING ABOUT 3 WEEKS AGO. WHEN FIRST TAKING OFF AFTER BEING STOPPED, ENGINE ACCELERATES UNEXPECTEDLY. IT JUMPS, AND I HAVE TO HIT THE BRAKES. IT HAS HAD THIS PROBLEM SINCE I HAVE OWNED IT (SINCE JAN '09). THE LAST COUPLE OF DAYS IF THE RADIO IS LEFT ON, IT DOES NOT AUTOMATICALLY SHUT OFF LIKE IT IS SUPPOSED TO WHEN YOU SHUT THE DOOR. THE PASSENGER SIDE WORKS. JUST HAD CLUTCH FAN AND WATER PUMP REPLACED AND THE MECHANIC SAYS THAT IT IS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH THESE VEHICLES. AFTER HAVING THAT DONE, IT STILL MAKES A ROARING NOISE FOR THE FIRST FIVE TO TEN MINUTES OF DRIVING. GOING TO HAVE ANOTHER DIAGNOSTIC ON IT TO...
I HAVE HAD MY WATER PUMP REPLACED TWICE IN THAT LAST 1.5 YEARS. THE FIRST TIME WAS COVERED UNDER WARRANTY BUT THE NEXT TIME ABOUT 10 MONTH THE DEALERSHIP CLAIM IT DIDN'T WORK AGAIN. JUST TODAY 12/12 I WENT TO DRIVE TO WORK AFTER LETTING MY CAR WARM UP FOR 5 MINUTES I DECIDED TO TURN THE HEAT ON AND NOTHING CAME OUT NOW I HAVE TO CALL AND SEE IF ANYONE CAN LOOK MY AUTO.
