The contact owns a 2017 Chevrolet Tahoe. The contact stated that occasionally while driving at various speeds, the vehicle failed to accelerate as intended while the accelerator pedal was depressed, and the RPM was elevated. In addition, the contact stated that the vehicle would brake independently while the accelerator pedal was depressed. The check engine and Electronic Stability Control warning lights would occasionally illuminate. The contact stated that restarting the vehicle was a temporary repair; however, the failure persisted. The contact stated that the windshield wipers activated independently, and all four doors locked independently. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer where it was diagnosed with a fuel injector #6 failure; however, the part was replaced approximately one month prior to the failure reoccurring. The contact owns a 2017 Chevrolet Tahoe. The contact stated that while driving at 75 MPH, several unknown warning lights flashed on the instrument panel, and the vehicle briefly shut off, then restarted while still in motion. Later, while driving at 45 MPH and attempting to complete a turn, the vehicle inadvertently lost motive power. The contact was unable to pull to the shoulder of the roadway, but the vehicle was able to restart. After restarting the vehicle, the vehicle returned to normal functionality, but the failure became a regular occurrence. The stability control warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, who diagnosed failures with the alternator and transmission. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure reoccurred. After investigating the failure, the contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 19V761000 (Service Brakes, Hydraulic, Service Brakes, Electronic Stability Control), but the VIN was not included....
