THIS IS THE SAME ISSUE EXPERIENCED WITH 2007 CHEVY TAHOE WHICH RESULTED IN NHTSA EA 10004. NHTSA EA 10004 RESULTED IN CHEVROLET EXTENDING WARRANTY ON THIS ISSUE FOR 100,000 MILES OR 10 YEARS. I CONTACTED CHEVROLET ABOUT THIS ISSUE WITH 2010 TAHOE AND THEY ARE NOT WILLING TO EXTEND THE WARRANTY ON THIS MODEL WITHOUT NHTSA ENFORCEMENT. THE DRIVER SIDE FRONT HANDLE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM IN 2012. GM FIXED THAT HANDLE FOR FREE BECAUSE CAR WAS UNDER 36,000 MILE / 3 YEAR WARRANTY. THIS IS A SAFETY HAZARD AS AN AIRBAG DEPLOYMENT COULD RESULT IN PLASTIC BREAKING FREE AND BECOME FLYING PROJECTILES WITHIN THE CABIN.
