TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 CHEVROLET TAHOE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THERE WAS A CRACK IN THE DASHBOARD AND WAS CONCERNED ABOUT AN INADVERTENT AIR BAG DEPLOYMENT. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO HERNDON CHEVROLET (5617 SUNSET BLVD, LEXINGTON, SC 29072) WHERE THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE DASHBOARD NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE CRACK EXTENDED OVER TIME. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 16V381000 (AIR BAGS). THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 80,000. *BF CONSUMER STATED DASHBOARD IS CRACKING INTO SMALLER PIECES SURROUNDING THE AIRBAG.*JB
