2017 CHEVROLET CRUZE Structure Problems

The contact owns a 2017 Chevrolet Cruze. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked, the contact observed a 1-inch crack in the third brake light. The contact stated that there was condensation leaking into the interior of the vehicle near the pillar loop of the seat belt, onto the floor near the retractor of the rear passenger’s seat belt. Additionally, the contact observed condensation in the trunk of the vehicle. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.

The contact owns a 2017 Chevrolet Cruze. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the check engine warning light illuminated on the instrument panel. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, who determined that a faulty High Mount Stop Lamp gasket allowed water to leak into the trunk and fill the rear compartment battery tub, resulting in water damage to the Multifunction Power Supply Converter, Fuel Pump Power Control Module, and Fuse Block. The vehicle was not repaired. After investigating the failure, the contact related the failure to Customer Satisfaction Program 16147, but the vehicle was not included.
