TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHEVROLET AVALANCHE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE DASHBOARD STARTED TO FRACTURE NEAR THE PASSENGER'S SIDE AIR BAG HOUSING AND ALSO CLOSE TO THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO SAM LEMAN AUTOMOTIVE GROUP (1502 MORRISSEY DR, BLOOMINGTON, IL 61701, (309) 663-4311) WHERE THE DASHBOARD WAS REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 95,000.
