All Power Trainautomatic Transmission Complaints
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS 2007 CHEVROLET AVALANCHE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE STARTED ROLLING BACKWARDS WHILE IT WAS IN PARK. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT PARKED ON A HILL. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER WHO STATED THAT THERE WAS A RELATED TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN STATING THAT SOME VEHICLES MAY ROCK OR MOVE FORWARD WHILE IN THE PARK POSITION. THE DEALER ALSO STATED THAT THE FAILURE WAS CAUSED BY THE TRANSMISSION FLUID RELEASING FROM THE CLUTCH PAD WHICH WAS NORMAL. THE CONTACT STATED THIS WAS NOT NORMAL AND COULD HAVE CAUSED THE VEHICLE TO CRASH INTO THE GARAGE. THE DEALER STATED THAT THERE WAS NOTHING TO REPAIR. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 64,400.
