I OWN A 1999 FLEETWOOD BOUNDER. THE ONAN GENERATOR FUEL LINE TO THE GAS TANK HAS A LEAK WHERE IT GOES INTO THE GAS TANK. IT IS A RUBBER FUEL HOSE. THIS COULD BE A DANGER FOR FIRE AND IN ORDER TO FIX THE PROBLEM YOU MUST DROP THE GAS TANK. WE ARE NOT THE ONLY ONE WITH THIS PROBLEM, EVERYONE HAS THIS PROBLEM EVENTUALLY. THERE SHOULD BE A RECALL BECAUSE OF POSSIBLE EXPLOSION. *TR
#10088773 | PARKING BRAKE:DRIVELINE:HYDRAULIC | | 10,762 miles
I WAS DRIVING MY MOTOR HOME ABOUT 40 MILES FROM HOME. I STOPPED AND PUT IT IN PARK AND THE AUTO PARK BRAKE CAME ON. I GOT READY TO MOVE AND THE PARK BRAKE WOULD NOT RELEASE. I COULD NOT GO FORWARD OR BACKWARDS. I HAD TO BE TOW TO A GARAGE. AFTER FOUR HOURS IT WAS DETERMINED THAT A HYDRAULIC PUMP HAD FAILED. HAD TO WAIT 4 DAYS FOR NEW ONE. AFTER I GOT HOME I LOOKED AT MY MOTOR HOME PAPERS. I FOUND OUT THIS PUMP WAS REPLACED AT 1900 MILE. THE FIRST OWNER HAD PROBLEMS WITH THE ELECTRIC BRAKE. THE MOTOR HOME ONLY HAS 10,000 MILES ON IT. I HAVE HEARD THAT THE PARK BRAKE CAN COME ON WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD. I AM AFRAID TO DRIVE MY MOTOR HOME TO FAR. THE PUMP IS ONLY ON CHEVROLET P30 CHASSIS. *JB
#10016843 | PARKING BRAKE | | 38,000 miles
MOTORHOME, CHEVY P-30 PARKING BRAKE BLOWS A FUSE AT HIGHWAY SPEED AND APLYES BARKING BRAKE. TWO GM SERVICE CENTERS CAN NOT FIND ANY PROBLEM THEY JUST KEEP CHARGING ME AND CAN NOT REPAIR THE MOTORHOME. IT IS DANGEROUS TO DRIVE IT AND THE ONLY THING TO DO IS DISENGAGE THE PARKING BRAKE BUT I DO NOT LIKE TO DRIVE LIKE THAT.
#10014458 | VISIBILITY:WINDSHIELD | | 27,500 miles
WHILE DRIVING ALONG ON A US HWY THE WINDSHIELD CAME OUT OF THE RUBBER MOLDING ON THE PASSENGER SIDE OF OUR 1999 36' BOUNDER MOTORHOME. I USED DUCT TAPE TO CLOSE THE RESULTING GAP AND DROVE HOME TO COLORADO. I CONTACTED THE MANUFACTURER OF THE MOTOR HOME, FLEETWOOD AND THEY RESPONDED WITH " THIS CONCERN CAN OCCUR FROM TIME TO TIME ON MOTOR HOMES, DUE TO MANY FACTORS, SUCH AS ROAD CONDITIONS, WEATHER, WEAR & TEAR OF THE GASKET, ETC." I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF SUCH A THING. THIS UNIT HAS ONLY 28000 MILES AND I BELIEVE THIS CONDITION TO BE DANGEROUS. IF THE WINDSHIELD WERE TO COMPLETELY SEPARATE AND FALL OUT, IT WOULD EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO BELIEVE AN ACCIDENT WOULD NOT BE THE IMMEDIATE RESULT. *NLM
#855013 | ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:ENGINE:GASOLINE | | N/A miles
INTERMITTENTLY ENGINE WILL STALL OUT AND DIE WITHOUT WARNING IN HEAVY RAINSTORMS, CAUSING LOSS OF STEERING AND BRAKES. DEALER HAS BEEN NOTIFIED. *AK
