THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN APPROXIMATELY 10 MINUTES TO THE GROCERY STORE, PARKED, WE SHOPPED, 30 MINUTES LATER, DROVE BACK HOME, AGAIN ABOUT 10 MINUTES. BACKED THE VEHICLE INTO MY DRIVEWAY AND SHUT THE VEHICLE OFF. GROCERIES WERE UNLOADED WHILE MY GIRLFRIEND WAS TRYING TO GET MY 18 MONTH DAUGHTER OUT OF THE CAR SEAT. SHE DID, CAME INSIDE AND APPROXIMATELY 2 MINUTES LATER A NEIGHBOR SLAMMED ON MY DOOR SAYING THAT THE VEHICLE WAS SMOKING FROM THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. I WENT OUTSIDE, TRIED TO RELIEVE THE ISSUE WITH AN EXTINGUISHER, THIS DID NOT REMEDY THE SITUATION. THE SMOKE INCREASED, I WAS AFRAID TO POP THE HOOD DUE TO RISK OF OXYGEN EXPOSURE TO WHAT I ASSUMED WAS IN ACTIVE FIRE. 911 WAS CALLED, MINUTES LATER THE ENTIRE COMPARTMENT WAS FULLY ENGULFED WITH FLAMES. FIRE DEPARTMENT ARRIVED AND EXTINGUISHED THE FIRE.
IN THE DESPITE OF THE N63 CCP PERFORMED BY THE CAR THE DEFECTIVE INJECTORS WERE NOT CHANGED AS THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN. THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN REPLACED WITH INDEX 12 AND THEY ARE STILL INDEX 9. TODAY BMW DO NOT WANTS TO CHANGE THEM AND ASKING FOR $5000. I THINK IT SHOULD BE PART OF THE ORIGINAL N63CCP.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 BMW 750I. WHILE DRIVING AT AN UNKNOWN SPEED, THE FRONT DRIVESHAFT FRACTURED. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE DRIVESHAFT FAILED. THE DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 96,000. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
