NHTSA Complaint #11714607 — 2024 JEEP WRANGLER

Vehicle experiences sudden unintended stopping and loss of propulsion. There are known safety recalls with no available remedy. Vehicle is unsafe and inoperable. Smoke/burning odor present. Children were in the vehicle during incidents. Manufacturer has not provided a fix. I was on my way to work towards the end of September with a SEMI behind me and it stopped out of the blue while driving! Thank God I acted fast and pushed start then stop to get it to go and out of the way, I was right infront of my job. Other times I have been alone and most recently during Christmas break my brother in law was in the car with me when it happened and he screamed and said to turn around, he’s a mechanic and he wanted to see what I was talking about. We didn’t even make it but out of the apartment complex when it happened.
