Consumer Description

The engine block heater in my truck keeps tripping the circuit breaker. Dealership says it that 'it appears that the block heater cord is shorted recommend replacing cord' estimate $500. I understand that Chevy has recalled some trucks from this year for this very problem however it and they don't include my truck. This is a fire safety hazard!!! The company admits it is a safety issue. Why isn't my truck on the list?
