NHTSA Complaint #11703042 — 2021 CHEVROLET TAHOE

The contact owns a 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe. The contact stated that while turning left with a foot on the accelerator pedal, the vehicle lost motive power and started shaking. The contact pulled over to the side of the road and attempted to restart the vehicle, but the vehicle failed to restart. The vehicle was towed to a dealer, where it was diagnosed that the intake fuel pump needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure reoccurred approximately five months later. The vehicle was taken to another dealer, where the fuel pump power control module needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 35,000.
