The contact had received the recall notification in August; however, parts were still not available. In addition, the contact stated that a friend had the same model vehicle, and the vehicle was already repaired under the recall. The dealer was not contacted about the unrepaired recall. The manufacturer was not contacted. The contact had not experienced a failure.
