NHTSA Complaint #11690633 — 2025 JEEP WAGONEER S

The dealership claims it was a software issue on September 9, 2025, and then it happened again on September 22, 2025. I shut off the car like they told me and I went on my way then it happened again on September 29 this time it was worse. The car literally stopped, and I injured both of my legs with my son in the car. He banged his knees on the passenger side. I notified the dealership Bayside and they picked up the car this morning at 6:50 AM they claim they are changing the part that I charged the car. They’re waiting for another part dealership claims they are taking apart from a new car and putting it in this car this jeep Wagner S is a danger to me and my family. It is not fair to feel unsafe driving this vehicle, this is a safety issue exchanging parts from other vehicles is not the solution. I never had a problem with any of my gas cars that I’ve been dealing with this dealership for over 18+ years. This car is going to have seven days out of one month in the dealership is not fair. The vehicle will go on turtle mode and will physically stop the car heartbreaking with no warning. This is the third time this has happened. The car goes to turtle mode and physically have to turtle mode.physically try to pull over shut off the car and restart it I have a grandson and I almost lost him because of this turtle mode.
