NHTSA Complaint #11689087 — 2019 FORD FLEX

This recall has been since the Dec 20, 2024 and there is no resolution for this. Called the local dealership multiple times and they had no additional information and no ETA on resolution. This is safety concern due to the visibility at the back of the vehicle when backing up. This is clearly not being resolved in timely manner. Also note: the lack of this resolution has limited my resale value of this vehicle which has/is affecting many others that own this vehicle. Note the camera started glitching about a year ago. Safety Risk A REAR-VIEW CAMERA THAT INTERMITTENTLY DISPLAYS AN INVERTED, BLANK, OR DISTORTED IMAGE WHILE IN REVERSE CAN REDUCE OR DISTORT THE DRIVERS VIEW OF WHAT IS BEHIND THE VEHICLE, INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH. Remedy DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE REARVIEW CAMERA AS NECESSARY, FREE OF CHARGE. PARTS ARE NOT AVAILABLE. FORD MOTOR COMPANY IS WORKING TO PROVIDE PARTS FOR THIS REPAIR.
