The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V905000 (ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING); however, the contact was initially informed that the part to do the recall repair was unavailable. The contact recently called the local dealer and was informed that parts were available. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and remained with the dealer for almost two weeks. The contact then called the dealer and was informed that the vehicle was not repaired because parts remained on back order. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure.
