NHTSA Complaint #11684527 — 2019 HONDA CIVIC

Dear NHTSA, I am writing to file a complaint regarding an unresolved recall issue for my vehicle. Although the manufacturer’s service center has completed the recall repair, the repair has not been updated in the NHTSA system, and the vehicle still shows an open recall. This unresolved status is creating serious issues: The car cannot pass Vehicle Safety Systems (VSS) inspection. Registration cannot be completed for the buyer. The bank is holding funds from the sale until the recall is officially cleared. I have contacted both Honda corporate and the servicing dealership several times, but despite their assurances, the recall remains uncleared in the system.
