Consumer Description
The contact owns a 2021 Ford Bronco Sport. The contact stated while driving at various speeds and making turns or coming to a stop, the rear end of the vehicle made an abnormal loud screeching and scratching sound. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed that the rear end of the vehicle had failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 97,500.
