Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2019 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed and attempting to switch gears, the transmission slipped. The transmission warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, where it was diagnosed that the transmission had failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 144,646.
