The contact stated that while performing the oil change as an independent mechanic, the contact noticed that there was a significant amount of oil in the oil catcher, and the oil pan was fractured. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where the contact was informed that the oil pan replacement was not covered under warranty. The vehicle was not repaired.
