NHTSA Complaint #11646988 — 2022 FORD F-150

The contact owns a 2022 Ford F-150. The contact stated that upon entering the vehicle after a rainstorm, there was an excessive amount of water inside the vehicle on and around the front dashboard. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who determined that the front windshield bonding agent had failed, resulting in heavy water leaking inside the vehicle. The vehicle was not repaired. After investigating the failure, the contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V451000 (Visibility); but the VIN was not included. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, a case was opened, and the contact was referred to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was 35,000.
