The contact owns a 2021 Chrysler Pacifica. The contact stated that the back-over prevention camera only operated as needed approximately 80 percent of the time. The screen image was blank or was occasionally jiggling. The contact stated that the camera image displayed would be a past image. There were no warning lights illuminated. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V436000 (Back Over Prevention); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The local dealer was contacted. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The failure mileage was approximately 63,000.
