The contact owns a 2020 Ford F-250. The contact stated that while reversing, the rearview camera image was distorted on some occasions, and on other occasions, a message advising that the rearview camera was inoperable and to contact the dealer was displayed on the infotainment system screen. The contact stated that the failure had progressively become permanent. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where an unknown repair was performed. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 46,000.
