NHTSA Complaint #11622306 — 2014 FORD F-150

Upon purchase of my vehicle, I occasionally would notice an unusual gear downshift. Then, upon receiving a Ford Recall 24S37 and NHTSA Recall 24V444000, regarding the update to the powertrain control module, I now continue to have a check engine light come on each month with the same error code. I've returned each month since the recall to Ford dealers to have the check engine light looked into further since the update, but each month the check engine light continues to return. Downshift to lower gears continues occasionally. 2 different dealers have seen the codes in the history of the vehicles computer when put through the Ford diagnostics.
