NHTSA Complaint #11615564 — 2021 FORD BRONCO SPORT

The contact owns a 2021 Ford Bronco Sport. The contact stated that after refueling the vehicle, the vehicle failed to start up, with the check engine warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the fuel injector was replaced under warranty. The contact then stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle jolted forward upon depression of the accelerator pedal. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the contact was informed that the transmission, catalytic converter, and water pump needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but offered no assistance. The vehicle had not been repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 55,000.
