NHTSA Complaint #11600878 — 2018 CHRYSLER PACIFICA PLUG-IN HYBRID

The contact owns a 2018 Chrysler Pacifica. The contact stated while driving 40 MPH, several unknown warning lights illuminated. Additionally, the gear shift indicator light turned off, and the vehicle lost motive power. The contact was able to pull into a parking lot. The contact turned off and restarted the vehicle however, the failure persisted, and the gear shifter became inoperable. The contact turned off the vehicle. The contact stated that upon restarting the vehicle after an hour, several unknown warning lights were illuminated, but the gear shifter was operable. The contact was able to drive to residence and parked the vehicle. The contact stated that the dealer had previously repaired the vehicle under NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V010000 (Electrical System, Hybrid Propulsion System) on several occasions; however, the failure persisted. The dealer was not contacted. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 69,750.
