NHTSA Complaint #11590178 — 2021 FORD BRONCO SPORT

The contact owns a 2021 Ford Bronco Sport. The contact stated while the vehicle was parked, the contact’s daughter’s arm bumped into the passenger’s side windshield, and the windshield was severely cracked. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic but was not diagnosed; however, the windshield was replaced. The contact stated on one occasion while driving 70 MPH, a small object struck the passenger’s side windshield, and a large crack was formed. The dealer was not contacted, and the vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and a case was filed. The failure mileage was approximately 38,956.
