NHTSA Complaint #11545223 — 2021 FORD BRONCO SPORT

The contact owns a 2021 Ford Bronco Sport. The contact stated that the windshield had fractured in the lower corner of the driver's side and extended towards the center of the windshield. The vehicle was taken to a glass specialist who replaced the windshield. The failure occurred an additional two times. The windshield was replaced by the glass specialist the second time; however, the windshield was not replaced after the third time. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, but the windshield was not replaced became the Warranty coverage had expired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The approximate failure mileage was 10,000.
