Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2016 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated while driving 60 MPH, the contact noticed a failure with the transmission. The contact stated that when he attempted to shift the gear shifter, the transmission remained in neutral. There was no warning light illuminated. The dealer was not contacted, and the vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the NHSTA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 117,000.
