NHTSA Complaint #11551371 — 2014 JEEP CHEROKEE

The contact owns a 2014 Jeep Cherokee. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle suddenly lost motive power, and the 4WD was not functioning properly. The contact was able to reach his destination however, while attempting to leave, the vehicle initially failed to start. After several attempts, the vehicle started, and the traction control warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and the dealer found several electrical faults. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure reoccurred. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 85,000.
