NHTSA Complaint #11542100 — 2021 FORD F-150

The contact owns a 2021 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while reversing, the back over prevention camera failed to operate as designed. The contact stated that the screen showed a display of the company and then a black screen. No warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer to be diagnosed; however, the technician was unable to duplicate the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and confirmed that the vehicle was not under warranty. The failure mileage was unknown.
