NHTSA Complaint #11538498 — 2016 FORD F-150

The contact owns a 2016 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the center sliding window detached. As a result, the window struck the passenger but there was no injury. The contact was concerned for the safety of passengers near the center window. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the adhesive had failed, and that the window needed to be replaced. The vehicle as not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 113,000.
