Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2010 Chrysler Town and Country. The contact stated that while his sister-in-law was driving 45-50 MPH, the HVAC system inadvertently turned off and the vehicle lost power steering functionality. Additionally, the vehicle stalled. The contact who is an independent mechanic was unable to duplicate the failure. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 14V373000 (Electrical System, Air Bags). The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 100,000.
