NHTSA Complaint #11497312 — 2016 CADILLAC SRX

The contact owns a 2016 Cadillac SRX. The contact stated that while his wife was driving at an undisclosed speed, the roadway became difficult to see. The contact stated that upon inspection, he noticed condensation inside the headlamp housings. As a result, the headlights became foggy. The dealer was notified of the failure and the contact was informed that the VIN was not included in a recall. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and the contact was advised to take the vehicle to the dealer for a diagnostic test. The failure mileage was approximately 70,000.
