Consumer Description
The contact owns a 2013 Ford Focus. The contact stated while driving 10 MPH, the vehicle started jerking with an abnormal noise coming from the vehicle. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and the contact was informed that transmission module needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and stated that the vehicle warranty was expired. The contact was referred to the NHTSA Hotline to file a complaint. The failure mileage was 152,000.
