The contact stated that after sitting in the vehicle, it was discovered that the front driver’s side seat belt had detached from the seat and could no longer secure the driver while seated. The cause of the failure was not yet determined. The local dealer and manufacturer were notified of the failure, but no assistance was offered. The contact was informed that the VIN was not included in the NHTSA Recall Campaign 21V245000 (Seat Belts). The contact stated that the vehicle had experienced the failure listed in the recall. The failure mileage was 75,000.
